12 Ways To Find Advertisers For Your Blog

Have you were wanted to attract more advertisers and simultaneously make more money of your blog? The advertisers are the way to go if you plan making big bucks but it's not easy attracting people who want to invest in your blogs if you're gonna sit idle and wait for them to come to you. No. That doesn't even happen in fairy tales!
Here, we are going to give you a few very useful tips to increase your demographic and let those mean, green, advertising machines come to you. After all, you do not want to let all your hard-work go to waste just 'cause you didn't try enough or hit harder.
So, let's do this, shall we?
1. Build Up Your Circle
Do not rush to the advertisers as soon as you create your blog. No no. You will have to make a strong readership to be noticed. Be furious. Target a large demographic. Make people want to come back over and over again to your blog so you can get more hits. This way the advertisers would be more interested in investing in you and your blog. All you have to do is show some promise.2. Target A Specific Audience And Follow It Through
Advertisers will never invest on a blog that isn't relevant to the products they are providing. Below is the checklist that you have to maintain for your blog's potential advertisers:- Traffic you get (search engine/direct/referring sites)
- From which part of the world you get most of your visitors
- How much of your traffic is from regular visitors
- How much they earn
- Their age groups
Basically, you should know everything about the demographic that you are trying to attract and have information about all your loyal readers. Remember, the advertisers are not going to invest in your blog unless you give them something to invest on.
3. 'Advertise Here' Page

Once you have managed to get a loyal readership, make an 'advertise here' space and let the advertisers know that you are in the market. Provide them with the necessary information about the traffic you get, advertising options available, pricing details, and contact information. Make it catchy and entice the advertising companies.
4. Create A Media Kit
Creating a Media Kit is the most substantial way of getting the advertisers' attention and fetching some serious deals. Most websites choose not to have a Media Kit which we would consider as a rookie mistake. If you want to make it large, then you've got to earn it.
5. Keep In Touch With Your Visitors
There is always a good chance of finding deals and offers through the comments left on your website. This is helpful when someone who comments on your page has a product to offer that might be useful to you or that your readers may find interesting.
6. Contact Advertisers And Kill The Competition
Make a list of all the advertisers who have collaborated with your competitors. Give them your website's basic information and send them a good looking proposal about why they should join hands with you instead. There is hardly ever a chance that they wont be looking forward to invest in a platform where they can get more exposure.7. Invite Popular Ad Networks
Join ad networks like BuySellAds , TextLinkAds etc as they have a large number of advertisers as their users who always keep on looking for new blogs to advertise their products. This is a very good option until you can find heavy investors for your blog.8. Webmaster Forums
All forums like DigitalPoint, V7n, Warrior Forum have a buy/sell/trade section where you can sell your ads easily to other webmasters.
9. Google 'Google Ads'
Search Google for keywords regarding your audience and check the websites that are using Google Adwords to promote their products. Invite all the businesses relevant to your demographic to invest on your website.10. Recommend The Products You Use

If you think that the product you are using could be helpful to your readers than try to strike a deal with the product owners.
11. Reasonable Prices
Don't go over the top and start demanding very high rates for advertisements. Keep low for a while, until you start capturing a large number of audience. If you don't keep your prices reasonable, the other party is going to find your competitors and invest in them for better prices.
12. You Scratch My Back, I Scratch Yours
This is the game we play with the advertisers. Remember, they will only stick around if they are making money off of your blog. So make sure to give them the right amount of attention. Attract your audience to checkout your advertisers' page. What you can do to guarantee it is:
- Sponsor spotlight posts
- Send emails to your subscribers introducing your sponsor
- Review products they have to offer.
